I have mentioned before that the gaps that our theme scripture refers to are the gaps of divine purpose.
God has plans and desires. He is looking for men who are able to execute them.
But how does a man position himself to stand in a gap that God is looking to fill?
You must be a discerner of spiritual times and seasons.
It is men who discern seasons of revival that will avail themselves in prayer for their generation.
It is people who sense that in a particular year, God wants to turn around a world system who will avail themselves as vessels.
It is women who know that in a specific period of time, God wishes to avail innovative ideas in certain areas of industry who will position themselves to pioneer great changes in the same.
Standing in the gap begins with discerning spiritual time.
